20 minutes ago-Edit I Dr. Illanos office in Merced CA JK Health Management is a horrible place and have major accounting problems. They have charged us $100 regarding co pays from 4 years ago that they decided to bill us for regarding services for a family member. In the bill they sent us it states the billing was late due to a audit on their records. How can a medical place like this decide to bill a customer after 4 years? They do not answer there phones to speak to them regarding this and the one time I did reach them they said they would call me back and never did. I don't even know if this was for valid services being that long ago. Unless you want to get billed for services years later I would stay clear of this place. I will pay the bill but want to make sure others know what they have done to us.

She pushes highly toxic drugs that cause brain dysfunction.

Very little time spent initial visit. No testing done. Little feedback. I want to switch a medication back to what I used to take before seeing her; it worked better, but she will not switch me back and gives me no reason for it. In the meantime my anxiety is out of control. Unnecessary suffering. Not impressed. Been a patient for about 5 years now. The doctor is so backed up it takes about 3 months out to get a return visit. The therapists have a high turn over rate too which does not help.

USED to be exceptional! Honestly, it's MORE THAN extremely unfortunate to see a psychiatrist -- who I know from years of personal experience -- go from having extremely wonderful bedside manner, very personal care & concern, and who used to spend quality time during appts making sure to FULLY understand your current situation + experience(s) + mood while taking into consideration your history (as much as she knew/knows of it...) and assessing you fully each and every single time she saw you go from spending AT LEAST 30 minutes with you, usually longer, so [as I mentioned] she'd be able to understand you as to be able to FULLY assess you, now hardly ever even last 10 mins AND you're seeing her through a computer screen... then? She merely prescribes you pills and sends you on your *merry* way. By the way, office staff are poorly trained receptionists -- with NO medical knowledge whatsoever -- who either leave EXTREMELY vague messages/notes in your file or NONE at all (Yes, that's… right... you may call with a dire situation, MORE than once, speak to more than 1 receptionist, only to call back again and find out there's NO record of you EVER having called). Dr. Ilano is EXTREMELY intelligent & well-informed/up-to-date and definitely knows her medication (re: their purposes, [even possible] side-effects, and interactions - which many MDs are not anywhere near as well-informed about). But I believe after years in the business and going from working in a small town to now moving into a [MUCH] larger city has **very unfortunately** done what it has to many MDs (in many medical fields) -- made her value $$$ more than patient care [possibly unconsciously??]; however, it's US!!, the patients that must suffer.

Their office was modern, spacious, clean and very professional looking. The office staff greeted me as soon as I entered and she was very courteous. They gave me all the necessary papers and information for my initial visit. I was immediately seated in their quiet and very well lit waiting room. I was seen in no time by my doctor and I was very satisfied with their service. They made me feel wanted and important.

Office staff are unprofessional and dismissive. Just got a call about today's visit. Said I have an appt. with Ilano and it was a mistake. I was supposed to see a therapist. So I'll go anyway and find out what happens. I will inquire about RX given from NP last week which has incorrect dosage on RX form.

The staff there at dr Ilanos office is horrible. I had an appt and my medication was not called in and when I called and spoke with monica the office manager she was rude and acted as if I was lying about having a refills, it took me calling all day to get anything done, and it was done incorrectly . Horrible that you have to stress on the people that are suppose to be helping you with stress.

Dr Ilano has and still is an AMAZING psychiatrist. Had I not moved from the area, I would still be under her care. She is so invested in her patients. The wait in the waiting room can be a bit long at times, but in the end it is MORE than worth it! Thank you Dr. Ilano, you are truly one of the BEST! and I LOVE you!
