I've been a patient of Dr. Jurado for over 11 years. Even when I moved over 35 miles away, I still make the drive to rely on her care when I'm out of balance. She provides great advice and is open to my preference of using supplements and nutrition when it's a viable alternative to medication. She is very well informed and takes the time to answer my questions. Because she takes the time necessary to address a person's issues, there might be a bit of a wait to see her. Trust me, it's worth the wait. With her guidance and care, you won't be disappointed.

I live in Hypoluxo and am trying to find a Medicare Advantage plan that Dr. Jurado takes. I've had to settle for many other doctors over the years, but I feel Dr. Jurado listened very carefully to me, was the most thorough and caring with each of us, while being totally professional. I want her as my primary again.

Dr. Jurado is by far the most knowledgable and caring internist I have had. She takes an extreme amount of time reviewing and helping me to understand blood work results. She is very thorough and listens to my concerns. She will draw diagrams to assist me to better understand issues she feels are important. Takes into consideration my siblings health issues when reviewing mine. Since I have been under her care, my blood work and overall health have dramatically improved! The only reason I gave her 4 stars on promptness is because she takes TIME with her patients. I am willing to wait 20 minutes, knowing that she always will take her time answering questions and discussing any concerns I have.

Doctor seems distracted. Everyones urine specimen was in a sink. Not clean and professional. She keeps pushing vitamin d supplement from Amazon.

If she is so caring and takes extra time to care for her patients, why are the appointments not spaced apart accordingly?

DR, is very good and cares about her patients, sometimes too much which is why the wait time is sometimeslong, but woth the wait.

A doctor that cannot schedule patients so that they do not have to wait 2 hours is one you should steer clear of. If it is worth your time to wait in a HOT room for 2 hours or more for a 5 minute follow up, then schedule an appointment. Word if advice: catch a movie at your appointment time and then show up.

Dr. Jurado has been my doctor since 1996. Though some might be upset at having to wait for Dr Jurado, this is only because of her caring attitude toward her patients. She takes the time to listen, ask questions and then take the time to explain all the issues and procedures until one can thoroughly understand the procedures, test and medications prescribed. This is much preferable to the "15 minutes" physician that does not really listen or care about the "whole" patient. As far as the bone density scan, thanks to her testing me I now have gone from being dangerously low with my density to having it well under control because she caught it in time and helped me to get better. She is also very knowledgeable and has great understanding of nutrition and natural ways to aid her patients. Dr Jurado is a great doctor, very professional and she is well worth the wait! There should be more doctors like her.
