Dr. Maria N Kelly, MD

Dr. Kelly has been my daughter's pediatrician for almost three years since she was born at SHANDS hospital until we left Florida. I was a graduate student at UF.Dr. Kelly is extremely nice and kind to parents and kids. Her professionalism and knowledge are as good as her personality. There are a few bad pediatricians who do not consider the overall circumstances in diagnosis and stick to the wrong principles or prescribe unnecessary medication such as steroid or overdose medication. Dr. Kelly is exactly the opposite to such doctors. She carefully listens to the patients and stand on parents side to assist with best care for the child. She is a rare physician who can collect the data and make a great decision for the overall benefit of the child while providing the details and every possible options. She also consults for non-health issues such as development and behavior. I felt very comfortable speaking with her about everything about my child. As a Korean native myself, she was very… easy to understand as she articulates and explains in easy English. In addition, she is very good at dealing with children.I am greatly impressed with her and honestly think she is the best doctor I have ever encountered. I have complete trust for her care and recommend her to anyone.

Great doctor and my children love her. She is very informative. Dr. Kelly appears to really enjoy her job.My children will refuse to see any other doctor at this time. They are very comfortable around her.

Dr. Kelly is the kind of pediatrician I had hoped to find for my first baby. Everyone at the office could not be more kind and caring--from the receptionist to nurses to the billing dept. I never felt rushed during an appointment. During some puzzling health problems with my son, she was thorough and careful without being reactionary or alarmist. She even called us on weekends and evenings with his latest lab results and our next steps of action. We just moved, and I am dreading trying to find a doctor who will live up to our experience with Dr. Kelly!
