Dr. Maria Rita Lepe-Suastegui, MD

I have seen Dr. Lepe for almost 10 years and I like and respect her a great deal. She listens to what you are saying and I trust her opinion. However, the office itself has absolutely NO COMMUNICATION within the last year or so. I tried to get a Rx refill for over 2 weeks and finally gave up and had another doctor write the Rx for me. I have called to get test/labs from the office while visiting another doctor (even though they're supposed to send all results to this doctor anyway) & was told by the office personnel that they couldn't fax it over because they had no record of Dr Lepe collaborating with said doctor. They have been talking/collaborating on my care for 10 years!! The same doctor left 3 messages for Dr Lepe and never received a call back. I've had troublesome lab results over the course of the last 3 weeks (over the Christmas holidays) & have been trying to find out how the doctor wants me to proceed....cannot get through to anyone. I understand people take time… off but someone should be able to step in and cover them. And upon my last office visit, the office personnel checking me out did not have a clue. They failed to even make me a follow up appointment. I do like Dr Lepe tremendously and her assistant Liz as well. I think the office as a whole is very poorly managed with no communication. I'm sad to say that after 10 years I will be looking for a new doctor.

Dr. Lepe is a genuinely caring medical professional who will do all in her ability to assure the patients needs are met.

Have seen Dr Lepe for years. She is very professional and caring. I trust her diagnoses completely. This has not been the case with some other doctors. I have a chronic condition that has resulted in organ transplant and numerous tests over the past decade, so I am very familiar with Dr Lepe, her style and abilities. I would, and have, recommended dr Lepe to family and friends.
