Dr. Maria Shih-Kwang Li, MD

She started out nice until you asked a question. Then she took everything personal instead of actually answering valid questions. She also made rude remarks of other neuro surgeons saying we should go to them instead of just answering our questions. If you want your chronic pain brushed off go to her. Also if you have or need fmla due to missing work prepare to be judged. But she will sign the forms for you and give you “indefinite leave” so she doesn’t have to “deal with your paperwork” again. So rude and no compassion. Will never go to her again!!!

Dr. Li has absolutely no bed side manner. She treats patients with less regard than most people treat stray animals. Frankly, I would not let her treat a stray animal let alone one of my loved ones. This woman may be intelligent but has no compassion or sensitivity. She should be ashamed! Do yourself and your family a favor and go to any other doctor.

Dr Li is a very intelligent and highly educated physician. She has done both my carpal tunnel release and cervical fusion surgery. I recommend her HIGHLY. She is kind, answers any questions you have, and does testing to eliminate/rule out other possible problems before she deems it necessary to operate. A+++

Always happy and wonderful bedside manner. She has done a carpal tunnel release, neck fusion on me and I was under the best care. She knows her stuff. P.S. She'll get you to quit smoking to do surgery, happy to say I quit!!! Love that she came to NEA Baptist.

Dr.Li is one of the best physicians I have ever encountered. She is caring and very compassionate regarding her patients care. Her bedside manner is phenomenal! She just lights up a room as soon as she enters! She is so loving and caring. You don't see that very often with doctors now days. She made my Dad feel so much better! I just love her. I would highly recommend her for any of your neurological needs! She is GREAT! Thank you so much Dr.Li!
