Dr. Maria Theresa Liquete, MD

Rude, uncaring and unprofessional. After driving over 30 minutes to my appointment, the doctor canceled, and rescheduled for a later date. 2 weeks later at the new appointment, I waited for nearly 2 hours to see the doctor. Upon entering her office, I found the most uncaring and unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. After telling her about my issue, she suggested I take an antidepressant. However she refused to give me a prescription for the drug until I go to the hospital or my primary physician and take a pregnancy test. I assured her that I was not pregnant, and that there was no way I could become pregnant as I am on birth control and have PCOS. She still refused to write the prescription. I will not be returning.

This Dr. would not listen to me, refused to listen to me when I told her I wasn't feeling any better, dismissed me as if I were a child (instead of the 41 year old woman that I am) and was completely uncaring. I would never recommend anyone going to see her.
