Dr. Maria Antonieta Macias, MD

Dr. Macias was amazing. She took her time answering all the questions we had. She genuinely cares for her patients. However, one of the nurses needs a quality customer service training asap. She was rude and had a long face the entire time.

As a long time allergy sufferer and one that has seen several allergists and ENTs in Texas and NY, I know a good one when I see one. She explained my symptoms and what each med was for. I thought I knew everything about allergies, but she blew me away with her explanations. No doctor had ever informed me about how important it is to take meds regularly rather than when I felt I needed them. I feel so much better just after a few days!!! Thank you.

Turns out my headaches were not from allergies like my neurologist kept telling me. My skin testing was negative and Dr macias diagnosed me with tmj. Now it all makes a lot of sense. Thanks.

My son saw Dr Macias and he did so well. He usually cries when he sees his regular doctor but she was so kind and easy going. He let her examine him and he never lets any other doctor do that. He was allergy tested and also did OK. He was very scared but Dr Macias talked to him and he was so comfortable. I have recommended her highly.

I made the appointment for my child and that part was easy but after meeting Macias for the first time she is not a pleasant doctor to be around. I have taken my child to other doctors and she has always been very cooperative in a check up situation and that is because the doctor is friendly. As a doctor, knowing that these allergy check ups require the patient to trust them because they are slightly invasive to anyone new, she should have been more considerate. In specific, this woman scared my child from the moment she walked in and that changed the trajectory of the whole situation. She was unprofessional, her staff was also bluntly unfriendly and obviously unhappy to be there. The whole place could use a face lift. The grey walls are depressing and there's nothing in there that welcomes young children. The allergy test is not so bad so maybe if the doctor had been a bit different this rating could have been better. Just if you really need to make an appointment, let your kids… know before hand that the doctor is not nice and the place might scare them but it's for their health and the allergy test is fast and feels like an arm scratch.

Had a great experience with Dr Macias. She did my allergy test and found I was highly allergic. I now know what to do when my symptoms act up. Great job!

Dr Macias was highly recommended by a coworker. Had a hard time getting an appointment the same week that I made the call but was accommodated for the following. Insurance clerk was very friendly and thorough when she called me back with insurance benefits. Office is dirty looking and nurses live off their cell phones. Employees should not be allowed to use cell phones during work hours. I have worked at the same company for over 15 years and we get written up if we get caught on our phones during work time. Nurses have no manners. They do not greet you when they take you in and the chubby nurse is very aggressive while performing the skin test.

The doctor is excellent but the staff is very rude.

Excellent service throughout the whole office visit. Receptionist makes you feel very comfortable as soon as you walk thru the door. Very impressed how she greets people that are coming in for shots. Dr Macias uses plain English to explain your problems. Only issue was when I got skin tested. Nurse was very aggressive and had a very annoying laugh. Besides that everything in that office is great. Thank you and I'm glad I won't be needing shots.
