Dr. Maria Elena Matala-Sullivan, DO

Dr. Matala-Sullivan is a very dedicated and professional doctor. She is concerned with every patient. She will take the time to listen and work with you to find out what is wrong and will go above and beyond to make you feel better. I recommend her very highly.

My family has loved seeing Dr. Sullivan for years.. She is a part time doc, so she can also be a Mom to her daughter, and wife to her surgeon husband... She is a down to earth person, a real person... She has issues like you and I do and does not see to be afraid of trying to figure out things.. She did miss a few things with my health, but I am not too forthcoming, in complaining about things... The office staff is another thing.. The office manager, is related to the head doctor, Dr. Robillard, and really has not one concept of running a tight ship, unless it is her way.... They hired a head nurse, after loosing MANY, who was fired from another doctor, after playing hide and seek, and other games in the office, in front of patients... Professionalism is not something that is not important. If you call for a refill or for a question, unless you get one or two of the nurses , you definitely do not get understood or listened to, they are for sure to mess it up... It is a… very poor reflection on the doctors who are competent and excellent in th eoffice to the one s that only hire family to fulfill a great issue of family bonding... TOOO bad bonding does not include competentence...
