Dr. Maria Hope Mayor Modesto, MD

Had my Second Annual Physical Exam and Dr Modesto was much more engaged with Male issues than my last Physical. I have never waited long to see the Dr. So she is very organized and I found she spends the necessary time to understand my questions and explains options. I believe, Dr Modesto stays current on changes in her field of Medicine and would now recommend Dr. Modesto to anyone that is seeking a Primary Care Physician.

The Doctor listens and takes notes, sends follow-up of Tests, but me being a Male Patient, she/I we are not comfortable discussing older male issues. During a Physical there was no Prostrate check or blood test ordered, no A1HC, diabetic test run, I have had a sinus infection for months and did not check my sinuses, a skin condition, also erctile dynfunction, so I feel there is a push for quickly getting the appt completed and out the door. We are just unable to discuss the issues that need to be addressed. I believe she is/could be a capable doctor, not so convinced for Male patients. Also, I believe, her Office Staff needs some additional "Soft Skill" training on how best to interact with her patients. I will find another Doctor just on this issue.
