As an IT Security Admin with 10 years’ experience, I can assure you I absolutely never give my personal cell phone number to anyone. Dr. Ongsiako was the only first in person experience where she was overly edgy with absolutely having to have my personal cell number, so I caved in for some absurdly stupid reason while literally watching her copy all the info from the hand written sheet of paper to her laptop. Not a day later I have been bombarded with text message spam about every other medication available. I called to let her know her electronic address book was compromised, and she brushed it off said she never had my cell phone and only had my email address.. She is rude, absolutely talked over me, and honestly I spent longer having to sit there watching her type everything from the sheet of paper I had to fill out over to her laptop. I did more repeating of myself than the length of the diagnosis of needing medication, I went someone else and was happy I did.

Absolutely horrible and unprofessional! I was on medications prescribed by another dr and I was stable. The first appointment she called that doctor unprofessional because of “all the meds I was on” (only 3). Refused to listen to me when I said I was stable. Told me it was “all in my head.” Changed every medication including putting me on an SSRI when previously it made my ADHD worse. She said that’s not a side effect of SSRIs so I’m making it up. Every time I voiced my opinion about why I wanted to stay on what I was on, she said “who is the dr here!” It was an awful experience. Don’t put yourself through that!

Dr. Ongsiako is quick to talk over you, comes off quite rude and has the proverbial bad bed side manner.

Gave it a few sessions but she’s awful. She gives unsolicited advice and just tells you to “look at the bright side” as if that’s an option during a depressive episode. I feel bullied by her. She told me I didn’t need medication on my first visit with her (meanwhile I’ve been on the same medication with success for about a year). I told her I was having some situational anxiety that’s limiting my functioning and she told me to increase my meds without even asking about my symptoms.

She cancels appointments regularly, she never remembers anything about my husband (even though he has been going to her for over a year). The pharmacist told us she prescribed an unsafe dosage of medication and refused to correct another prescription when she made a mistake. She told my husband who is chemically depressed that "it was just a phase" and refused to change medicine. She never knows what she is talking about and gets very defensive if you tell her she is not making any sense. Do NOT waste your time.

This doctor does not listen. I had been on the same meds for 5 years with no ill side effects. 3 different psychiatrists kept me on the same meds which were keeping me stable. First visit she changed my meds. Terrible mistake!! She canceled two apps and never called to reschedule. Her responses to my answers to questions were totally inappropriate. Do Not Go To This Doctor. Really scary this woman practices medicine.

Dr. Ongsiako did not listen to a single thing I said, with a rude "hunh?" after every single sentence I said, forcing me to repeat everything. She pushed me to get off medication, which has since become clear was the absolute wrong choice. Also, she gave very inappropriate advice. She told me to break up with my patient, caring boyfriend of over four years because I was "too young for such a serious relationship." Who asked her? She didn't listen to what I said, refused to give advice on medication dosages (she would ask me how much I thought I should take- who went to medical school?), and offered advice where it was neither warranted nor appreciated.
