She is kind and considerate. Very knowledgeable in everything she does. She is very compassionate.

Poor Time Management

Visit with Dr. was nice. Dr. Friendly and spent time with me to answer questions. Said I need C-pap study. I did the study and now it has been 21 days and I can get no status, nor have any idea when I can expect to order my c-pap. Staff does not return calls. Placed on hold for 25 minutes. Dr. only at Baptist 2 days per week and apparently does not clear her desk. Apparently no diary system. People just fall thru the crack on treatment. Run.

I am thankful Dr. Rappai is my pulmonologist. She is a kind and intelligent physician.

Dr. Rappi not only has excellent clinical skills but also has a beautiful personality.

I have a history of pulmonary embolisms. When I developed blood clots in my leg I went to the office. I saw a nurse practitioner and she said the clot was in a superficial vein and not to worry. She told me that this vein will intersect with a deep vein above my knee and if the clot were high on my leg it would become serious. The clots continued to Pop up higher on my leg and i contacted the office several times to tell them. I was always put through to a nurse named Brad who gave the impression he did not understand my situation. When the clots started to pop above my knee and I expressed concern, he said "well you aren't going to drop dead just because it is above your knee". I asked if i could go back on blood thinner and he finally agreed but offered no other assistance. I accepted that no one was listening to me and finally sought the help of a vein doctor. He saw my ultra sound and immediately scheduled a procedure to stop the clots from… growing. He said I had a clot 4" from the deep vein intersection. The clot was about to hit the expressway to my heart and lungs. Thank God I didn't accept what Rappai's staff was telling me. Otherwise I doubt I would have lived to see Thanksgiving. Brad was hard to get on the phone And when he did call back, he was rude and it was apparent that I was bothering them. Seek another Pulminologist if you need one.

she doesn't follow up with patients. had to call her to order test.they forgot to schedule one test then no one call let me know when other test was.she doesn't call you with results either her assistant does .I'm paying to see her talk to her not her assistant no matter how nice he is.I'm looking for another dr.now

Dr. Rappai is an excellent physician who really cares about her patients.

I went to the Madison branch, I would not advise anyone to go there. I was lied to by the office personnel. I have not gotten my results and it has been three weeks. Horrible experience, good thing it was not an emergency. The doctor I found out works at Baptist and I guess she does this on the side.

Overall experience with Sleep Solutions in Madison was POOR. Dr Rappai seems caring but there was NO follow up after visit. Results from sleep study took > 3 weeks and were nothing more than a secretary calling to say yes you have sleep apnea and need a follow up study..no details at ALL. Follow up sleep sudy took a month and a half to get appointment, and when I showed up for study was told I was in the wrong location...nobody ever contacted me as to this change. I called to make another appt. and it would be another month and a half !! The office staff was very cold and uncaring and LIED when they said they had notified me about change of location.. This has been a terrible experience for me and I wouldn't wish it on anybody. It may just be this office in Madison that has the problems. I would NOT advise anybody to use them !!!
