Dr. Maria-Raquel Weaver, MD

Dr. Weaver is truly remarkable. She doesn't miss a thing, and she's both thorough and caring. I'd even say she's the opposite of money-focused. It's not easy to find great doctors like her these days, so I'll definitely be returning.

What sets Dr. Weaver apart is their dedication to listening to their patients and taking the time to understand their concerns. They have a wealth of medical knowledge, but they never make you feel like your questions or concerns are insignificant. They are patient, kind, and truly invested in their patients' health and wellbeing.

This doctor is extremely money driven so please beware. My first appointment she engaged me in conversation by asking me health history questions etc. just to be billed $150 extra for what they termed as "speaking with her". That's right, if you speak to her during your appointment, it will cost you extra, even if it is just answering her questions. In addition to this amongst other things, she writes very short prescription periods so that you have to schedule more appointments just to get the medicine you need. For example, I have had asthma since childhood with the same prescription, one in which she refused to refill, regardless of my current breathing condition. That is right, instead of her caring about how my breathing was, she cared more about getting another appointment. This doctor required an appointment for a physical in order to get another asthma medication prescription from her. Ethical? Maybe, maybe not, but in my experience this lady did not care about my well being… whatsoever but instead cared more about her bottom line. You would think that being a doctor is about health, wellness and care for your patients but at her office, it's about how many times she can get you into the office and what she can bill you for unfortunately. It is my opinion that this "doctor" should be avoided at all costs.
