Dr Wasicek is the best ever surgeon. About 15 years ago she removed my thyroid due to cancer and several years later a benign cyst. She is an excellent surgeon!!

My experience with Dr. Salcedo-Wasicek is, she is a very educated and concerned physician. She took out my thyroid several years ago and did an excellent expertise surgery. The best possible outcome. Years later, she did remove a cyst on my back in her office. On my follow-up, she asked how I felt about the procedure. She is a caring doctor. She has many years experience and education!

Dr. Salcedo-Wasicek was lacked a disconcerting amount of empathy and consideration for my health needs that brought me to her in the first place. Spent a great deal of time talking over me and truly making a frightening situation so much worse. She did not answer all of my questions before ending the appointment and is not fluent enough in English to be understood fully. I will be seeking a second option as this doctor instilled no confidence. Save your money and go elsewhere. You will not be well served by this person and when you are seeing a surgeon, the feelings she created in my appointment by her unprofessional behavior are the very last thing you need. Patient respect and consideration should matter always.

She lacks compassion and empathy. As a doctor dealing with cancer and or surgery patients, she needs to learn how to be supportive and compassionate. Every time I had a consult with her, I was in tears! Hated Kaiser since I had no options but to deal with her

Doctor Wasicek has done 2 cancer surgeries on me. The first in 2005, for thyroid cancer, and the second was 2012 breast cancer surgery. The incisions on both were minimal, and so discreet, they are not even visible. Her care was complete, friendly, and has time to talk to you and answer questions. Love, Love her!!

From biopsy to surgery Dr. Wasicek and her staff, could not have been more compassionate and helpful. They walked us through the process and helped schedule all of the necessary tests that are required. You don't have to use the doctors that she is teamed up with but I did and wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else. They are ALL very good doctors and surgeons.

The HUGE bandaging (the "Madonna Boob" - Dr. Wasicek's "trademark") was embarrassing and humiliating and as far as I can tell, very unnecessary. Her bedside manner has caused more stress and strife than any other aspect of this now worrisome situation. It's interesting that the other review stated that she received the results immediately because I won't know until my next visit (a week after the procedure) what the results of the biopsy are.

Her and her staff were so caring and sweet. They called immediatly to tell me it was benign. She also took me with no insurance and im ever so greatful!

I felt as though I was being rushed to have surgery done. I was told that I had to see another specialist of her choice not mine.
