Dr. Maria Carlota Sanjorge, MD

My children have been patients at Dr Maria San Jorge office for over a year. I bring my 5 children to see her for well visits and when they are ill. Today was the absolute worst experience of my life. I live 40 minutes away from the office. I drove with my 1 year old twins to my scheduled appointment. I showed up to my appointment 10 minutes early after having had BOTH kids get car sick on the drive down, which required us to change their clothes, wipe down their seats as best as possible and still come into the office early. When Dr San Jorge saw me in the waiting room, which was completely empty, she asked why was I in. I told her I made an appointment with Vanessa 2 weeks ago for the twins 1 year well visit. She proceeded to tell me she had no appointment in her system. I explained that Vanessa had squeezed me in and this was the only time I could come due to my upcoming schedule. She said, "I don't have anyone here to help me." I pleaded with her to please accommodate us given the… car sickness, the 40 minute drive and the fact that she had NO ONE WAITING. She offered to give me a different number for a doctor more near me. I told her, "I'm not looking for a referral, I'm asking for you to see my children and considering I bring all 5 of my kids to your office, they must account for some type of income to you." She told me, "It makes no difference to me either way." I thanked her for her time and walked out of the office with 2 car sick, green faced 1 year old babies. She didn't even offer an apology for her staffs error, offer to give me some wipes or a bag for all the vomit clothing and paper towels in my car. She was the most unsympathetic PEDIATRICIAN I have ever encountered in my time as a parent, which extends 19 years. I urge anyone who sees her or is looking for a pediatrician, DON'T GO TO HER!!!!!!

Dr. San Jorge takes her time with the patients and family, answers any questions you have - always. The staff are nice and friendly.

After going through 4 pediatricians, I finally found the one pediatrician that is 100% caring, professional, patient and most of all genuine! Her staff is always nice and never obnoxious like in other offices. The wait time is extremely short because they know how to properly schedule patients. DR. Sanjorge will ALWAYS listen to all of your concerns and she will go the extra mile to ensure that her patients are safe and are receiving the proper medical care. She will not rush you out and will always ask if there is anything else that is on your mind. I absolutely recommend this pediatrician to anyone who is in need of one!
