Maria D. Silva, PA

Maria Silva, PA, has been interested in the health care field since childhood. She began her career in biomedical research, inspired by a deep passion for discovering new treatments for disease. Today, she is proud to provide direct care to a diverse group of patients.
As a child, PA Silva witnessed her brother's battle with leukemia. This experience had a lasting impact and inspired her to participate in medical research in the hopes of finding new solutions for serious illnesses. In her health care practice, she is proud to collaborate with other providers and always delivers comprehensive, compassionate care for her patients. She believes each patient deserves to be treated with respect and values her patients as individuals.
PA Silva is a University of Texas Health Science Center graduate and board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching class films and relaxing with her family. Her other …hobbies include learning Italian, traveling and trying different cultures' foods.
