Dr. Maria Teresa Toro, MD

Our family doctor moved away and Dr. Toro was who he replaced his patients with. I was seeing Dr. Toro's husband who was monitoring my reflux medication. I ran out of the medication and called her office to re-new it. I was told I would have to make an appointment to do this which I said OK. Not feeling it was necessary for this type of medication. They were to call me back with an appointment date and to give me information on why this had to be done. The next thing I got was a certified letter in the mail stating they would no longer see me as I did not follow the rule of keeping my appointment to refill the medication. My husband called them and told them I never had an appointment and they told him I was rude to them. This was the strangest thing and I am still confused about the whole mess. I was never rude to anyone just asked questions on why I had to see them to get a simple reflux medication renewed. Bottom line, they were unfair and rude to me. I am now in search… of a reliable, fair doctor. Be careful who you choose to care for you. I know this Dr. is not!
