Dr. Maria C Torres, MD

Dr. Torres is a very knowledgeable doctor. She recommended certain blood pressure meds that were better for me to use with diabetes. My previous endo never said anything about it. She explains everything and doesn't rush you out. She has been more thorough examining me than any doctor i have ever had. i have recommended her to all of my family and friends although i shouldn't. i don't want her to get TOO busy. i just really trust Dr. Torres.

Excellent patient interaction professional and attentive

I have seen Dr Torres for many years now. She listens and does not hesitate to bring in specialist if needed. Too often Dr’s will try to handle something outside of their expertise, but Dr Torres cares for more her patients than her ego. The office staff could be better but it is a small price to pay to have such a great dr

Dr. Torres is an excellent doctor, listens and takes time with patients. However, dealing with her office staff is an experience I could do without. Have to call multiple times for a refill on medicine, and the person who answers the phone determines if you need an appointment. If I didn’t like Dr. Torres so we’ll, I would change doctors because of her office staff.

Only saw Dr for initial visit & was put on med I had a previous problem with. No follow up to see how I was doing. Had to call for Rx refill to continue on drug? No recommendation for another check up appt. After a year, I called for an annual wellness check. Was allowed to run out of Rx meds before appt. date set by staff. Not helpful, maybe because I have Medicare insurance.

I love Dr. Torres. She listens and takes time with me and offers practical solutions. Her office staff, however, needs significant counseling in customer service. They are aloof, grim, and do not appear to have the patient as their top priority.

Dr. Torres is a kind and caring doctor. She takes time to explain things to you and is very thorough. Her staff is horrible. One star is too much for them. They are not helpful and have a horrible attitude.

Dr. Torres is wonderful, caring and very thorough. She doesn't make you feel rushed and takes plenty of notes. I wish she was part of a better practice because it does take an extreme amount of wait time before being seen and her office staff is the absolute worst ever. If she wasn't such an excellent doctor her office staff would make me never want to go back again.
