Dr. Maria Ava Bella Vega

Hello I just thought I would come and share my experience because everyone’s experience isn’t the same depending on what type of insurance you have when it comes to this dentist maria vega. my scheduling experience wasnt good but I didn’t feel like calling my insurance to find out which other dentist were in network so I just used to this Dentist because it was kind of an emergency thing for my daughter’s orthodontist. The dentist said because of my insurance I would have to pay $160 for some of the service that my insurance did not cover. However, when I received the bill from the insurance it showed that the service that she actually charge me for was covered and so I called her and contacted her to get a refund and she refused to give me a refund because through the insurance it says that I still owe her $170. However my deductible was $150 and she would not tell my insurance that I paid the money to her even though I have the receipt for it so since I already paid 160 and reach my… deductible, and then the rest of the services would have been paid for through the insurance not only would she not give me a refund she was so rude because of the type of insurance I had diring the visit when she thought I had Medi-Cal and I really had aetna insurance through my job but the things she was saying regarding Medi-Cal when she thought I had Medi-Cal was just absolutely rude so if you have insurance from your job, go ahead and go to the dentist but be careful because she is a big-time scammer only in it for the money she took some x-rays not telling me that the insurance only covers one time a year and I already had it with another Dentist but she just wanted money so she did it anyway but if you have medical expect to be treated like you are less than my experience with this dentist has been absolutely terrible. I will be reporting her to the Dentist board because she has yet to refund my money.

Dr.Vega is an excellent dentist. She is caring and her work is top quality. She really cares about her patients and it shows in the results of how your teeth look and feel.
