Dr. Mariam A Hamidi

Meet Dr. Mariam Hamidi
Dr. Hamidi attended University of California at Riverside where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  She continued her education at the Tufts School of Dental Medicine where, as the recipient of merit scholarship and Health Professional Scholarship Program, she obtained her Doctor of Medical Dentistry, graduating at the top of her class.
After graduating from dental school, and commissioning into the Army, Dr. Hamidi successfully completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry.  After completing a one-year tour in Korea, she matriculated into a four-year Oral & Maxillofacial Residency in one of the prominent army hospital, Madigan Army Medical Center, in Tacoma, WA.  There, she received advanced training in the following fields:

Maxillofacial Trauma
Maxillofacial Pathology
Dental Alveolar Surgery
Cosmetic Surgery
Reconstructive Facial Surgery
General Anesthesia
Implants (dental, facial)
Since completing her …advanced degree in OMFS, Dr. Hamidi has taken staff positions at Evans Army Community Hospital, where she has mentored residents of 1-year Advance Education in General Dentistry.  She served in the forensics team, Pharmacy/Therapeutics forum, the Chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Clinic Officer in Charge.  Dr. Hamidi has been awarded the Army Commendation Medal, with three Oak Leaf Clusters, and has been rated superior in every evaluation periods.  She is an instructor in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advance Cardiac Life Support, and Basic Life Support.
Dr. Hamidi  is a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon.  She is a member of several organizations including the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, the American Association of Dental Anesthesiology, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Hamidi comes from a very diverse background. Her unique qualities include speaking multiple languages, understanding different cultures, and the ability to relate to people of different backgrounds.  Thus, she is exceptionally qualified to treat appropriately all patients from different walks of life.
Dr. Hamidi loves the great outdoors, and thus chose Colorado as her home. She loves golfing, hiking, and cycling.  She is deeply involved in charities involving third world countries, and she will always have a special place in her heart for the men and women in uniform.
