I also have a passion for reproductive health education and helping people to better understand their body systems from puberty to menopause. Why I Became a Medical Provider: After volunteering at the Berkeley Free clinic for many years I realized the gap in access to health care for marginalized people. I also realized the empowering possibility in providing healthcare. I was inspired to be trained as a Certified Nurse Midwife and Family Nurse Practitioner to advocate and collaborate with patients to better meet their needs.Personal Interests and Hobbies: Community, family, my dog, cooking, eating meals with friends, health care, plants, sewing projects. I love the outdoors and being in nature. I am firmly dedicated to creating safe, competent, non-judgmental access to health care to everyone.
