Mariana Cota, FNP-C, is a compassionate and dedicated family nurse practitioner committed to empowering her patients to achieve their health goals.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia College and State University and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati. Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Mariana’s practice emphasizes patient education, trust, and a personalized approach to care.

Passionate about primary care, Mariana is particularly interested in diabetes management, stress management, healthy eating, and exercise as cornerstones of long-term health. She values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her patients, taking the time to understand their unique needs, backgrounds, and aspirations. This approach allows her to provide informed guidance and collaborative care, empowering her patients to make decisions that lead to healthier and more fulfilling lives.

When she’s not at work, …Mariana enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband, their two young sons, and their black Labrador. Her weekends are often filled with family activities like travel soccer games, baseball tournaments, and mountain biking races. Originally from Brazil, Mariana speaks Portuguese, enjoys being active, traveling, and listening to Audible books.
