Dr. Mariana Schmajuk, MD

Dr. Mariana Schmajuk is a dual board-certified psychiatrist who earned her MD from Boston University School of Medicine in 2012. She completed her psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai, where she served as Chief Resident, followed by a Consult-Liaison fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia from 2016 to 2017.

Following her fellowship, she worked at Stanford Hospital in various medical units, cancer centers, and emergency departments. Dr. Schmajuk continues her affiliation with Stanford. This specialized training and ongoing experience in treating patients with complex medical and psychiatric conditions shaped her integrated approach to mental health care. Dr. Schmajuk is passionate about understanding the whole person, not just symptoms, and believes that effective treatment comes from listening carefully and recognizing the deep connections between physical and mental well-being.
