Dr. Maribeth Knight, DO

Dr. Knight is my mom's primary. I've worked in healthcare for 30+ years and it is with this background that I highly recommend Dr. Knight. She's an excellent internist - especially in my experience with elderly patients with complicated conditions. She listens to her patients, their family members, and is compassionate, thorough, and knows what she knows and doesn't know. She is the internist that all should hope to have - one who is a good diagnostician, medical doctor, and coordinator of care (working with specialists as needed). She's also very pleasant and personable.

I absolutely love Dr. Knight. My whole family does. She is so professional yet so warm and lovely. Great diagnostician.

I had to change primary physicians, and I found Dr. Knight. I am so happy I did. She was awesome. Took time to get to know me as a first time patient which was really important to me. The entire staff was fantastic. Highly recommend!

I recently went to see Dr. Knight. I was 15 minutes early but wasn't taken back for 45 minutes. I requested to see only Dr. Knight, however, her nurse practitioner came in to "get started". Twenty minutes later Dr. Knight came in. I felt that she was in a hurry and could not wait to get out of the room. I had three issues to talk with her about and when I brought up one of the issues she said that I need to schedule another appointment to come back and talk about this issue. I had already brought it up when I scheduled the appointment. I am in the process of finding a new doctor.

Self centered, more concerned about her image than her patient.

Dr. Knight was snippy and downright disrespectful to me today. She is a young, computer and PA- dependent physician who has a dreadful bedside manner. Sadly, her front desk staff reported to her that I had asked for them to tell Dr. Knight I had arrived, to which she took exception and challenged me. I'm sick of doctors making assumptions about me based on others' perceptions.

I find Dr. Knight incredibly personable and willing to take her time with me. She answers all questions and treats me with respect and kindness. I only gave 4 stars because on occasion I've had issues with orders being incomplete (and it taking multiple calls to figure things out with the office staff). Getting an appointment can also take time and waiting time is hit or miss.
