From the very first visit, she took the time to listen carefully, understand the full picture, and explain things in a way that felt clear, respectful, and reassuring. I never felt rushed or dismissed-she is thoughtful, thorough, and deeply knowledgeable. What sets Dr. Akers apart is her ability to combine strong clinical expertise with genuine compassion. She also does an excellent job collaborating with families and making sure everyone understands the treatment plan and next steps. Dr. Akers creates a safe, supportive environment and truly advocates for her patients well-being. I felt heard, supported, and confident in the care being provided. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking high-quality mental health care for themselves or their child.

Marie does a good job at making you feel comfortable enough to talk about your symptoms and what's going on. However, she tends to run late to her appointments.
