She is the smartest and kindest Dr I have ever met She saved my husbands life after a bilateral lung transplant She dealt with one complication after another SHE ALWAYS HAD A PLAN READY TO DEAL WITH EACH PROBLEM This gave us hope not to give up Her team of Drs are all wonderful This is a reflection of her We are blessed that she is our Dr and will always be thankful we thankful for her !!

Very personable,knowledgeable, and listened intently. She had a good grasp of my disease and was very supportive and a wonderful advocate for me. I am very confidante in her care. She gave me confidence that this will be behind me soon.

My husband had a complicated case with pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension and a stenosed aortic valve. After being turned away elsewhere, the team at Cleveland Clinic in particular Dr. Budev has been remarkable. Pre-transplant she was available to answer concerns. In hospital post transplant, she was there when complications occurred and ever since, she's a call away. We've never met such a thoughtful and compassionate physician. She saved our lives together.

4 yrs after transplant Dr Budev has been wonderful, she has on one occasion returned my call personally within 1 minute due to a medical emergency I had, and admitted me to the hospital immediately. She diagnosed the medical condition and explained what had caused it.

Dr Budev is the most caring doctor I have met, She got me my lungs, even though I know I was high risk. Yes I was turned down once , but I was also still working at the time, and I now understand why I was turned down. She knows her job and does it well.Someone else needed those lungs before me, and when my time came, Dr Budev was there for me. She asks about how my family is doing, every time I see here and it has been 5 years. Who wouldn't recommend Dr. Budev . She is a wonderful doctor.

Wonderful doctor. Very professional, caring, and totally upfront and honest. On 25 liters of oxygen prior to transplant, no oxygen after. In Cleveland less than 1 month. Follow up and access amazing. Highly recommend Cleveland Clinic and Dr. Budev!

My Husband is currently awaiting a double lung transplant. Dr Budev and her staff have been outstanding in walking us through the process. She is very patient and explains things to us in detail and makes sure we understand. Although we have been waiting for 15 months I know when the time comes my husband will be in the best of care.

All she cares about is her reputation. My dad is 56 years old, he had leukemia and now he is suffering from a disease called GVH. It is taking over his lungs which causes him to be on 5 liters of oxygen at all times, and sometimes that's not even enough. My dad went to Budev in hopes of getting a lung transplant. She said no once. My dad did everything she asked and he went back and she put him through weeks of testing only to say no once again. Every other doctor on the transplant team said if he was willing to look past the risks, why not go for it. But Budev knows my dad is a very high risk, and he might not make it through surgery, so in order to protect herself she will not do the transplant for my dad. His lungs could collapse at any time. And she has the nerve to tell my family and I she knows how we feel. No, she doesn't. She knows how she feels about her numbers and reputation. She is a terrible excuse of a doctor and not a good person. She ruins lives and I would never ever… recommend going to her, or the Cleveland Clinic period.
