Dr. Marie Celeste Campagnone, MD

Dr. Campagnone initially seemed to be caring a knowledgeable. She understood what I was dealing with and was willing to help. She prescribed me to medication which she said she would write after our appointment and give them to her assistant to send them to the pharmacy. This was on a Thursday at noon. All of Thursday rolled around and my pharmacy never received my prescription. I called her assistant on Friday to see if there was an update and she informed me that doctor forgot to enter my prescriptions so she could not send them to the pharmacy but she was going to let the doctor know right away to resolve this. The entire afternoon went by and I had not heard back and my prescriptions were still not at the pharmacy. Eventually, at a loss assuming I was entirely forgotten about, I called her assistant and told her that I did not want to work with this doctor anymore so she needed to cancel my future appointments and and to cancel my prescriptions as I had decided to go with a new… provider. She said she understood and would cancel my appointment and cancel the prescription. Later that day I got a same day appointment with a new provider that was great. He understood my symptoms, wrote me my prescription and I was able to pick it up within the hour. THEN later that night, 9 HOUR after I told the original doctors assistant to cancel my appointment and prescriptions, I get a text message from the office telling me to review my prescriptions. So at this point, I had 2 of the same prescriptions sent to my pharmacy from 2 different doctors on the same day. This was for a clonazolam prescription so this was a big deal to me. It is not allowed to see multiple doctors for the same medication as the same time. I had taken the proper measure to assure this didn’t happen by demanding that they cancel my treatment and cancel my prescriptions and was assured that they had done so. There is obviously a forgetful doctor, and incompetent doctors assistant and I don’t believe that this facility truly cares about doing right by their patients. I would not recommend seeing this doctor to anyone that wants to receive actual prompt care.

She was mean and not caring.

Dr. Campagnone, in conjunction with my therapist, has done nothing short of saving my life. Asking for help has always been extremely difficult for me. Her genuine concern for my well-being and understanding of my variety of problems allowed me to not only ask for her help, but to actively participate in my treatment. Dr. Campagnone's passion for her job and caring for her patients is above and beyond what I have experienced in the past. Not to discount help I have recieved by others in the past, but I always looked forward to our appointments. I was consistently made to feel comfortable and was made to feel as though there was nothing "wrong" or "abnormal" about me. Being placed under her care was nothing short of a blessing as now I find myself more often believing that I can overcome and deal with the aspects of life which I previously believed to be unbearable. I have the utmost respect and gratitude for what she does and the ways she goes about it. Though no one is perfect, I have… not seen any flaws in her role as a doctor and caregiver.
