I went to Dr Ferber years ago. I tried Psychologist, at least 3 in a span of about 5 years. My last one thought I should try depression medication and that’s when I met Dr Ferber. After 2 tries the 3rd medication worked along with some time spent with her. After less then a year I parted ways with her. I explain it like this” each visit help me . It felt like I was able to step out of the boat that kept me afloat (dr Ferber) and swim a little more away on my own with each visit without feeling like I was drowning . I could look back and see dr Ferber but was able to finally swim away on my own . I’m still on my meds and Have been for 20 years. I think about Dr Ferber when someone tells me they are struggling or know someone that may be struggling with a mental illness. Her name is the first that pops in my head and I always highly recommend her!

I have seen Dr. Furber for over 10 years on and off. I have been with so many psychiatrists and she is the only one who understands me. I want to get back with her for life, I believe she is not accepting new patients, I will do what I can to see her!!

Great doctor. Was seeing her for medication management. Really knows her medications well. Worked with me to figure out what suited best for MY lifestyle. Definitely recommended.

I was suffering from post-partum depression. Yet I was feeling terribly guilty for not being over joyed at giving birth to a healthy beautiful baby. She explained to me that was all due to the hormonal changes that happen after giving birth. Better yet she prescribed medication that fixed me right up. I went from thinking I was a terrible person to being a happy caring Mother to my baby.

She is obviously very intelligent and skilled at what she does. She really knows her medicines. She is always very professional and polite. She is easy to get an appt with-she returns my phone calls herself. She is ususally runing right on time for my appt.
