Dr. Marie Kuchynski, MD

I know she didn't think twice about how to help me feel better. She never had recommendations on her own and it is clear she is not updating her research to find new treatments. You visit her so she will give you prescriptions that you recommended yourself. She stopped prescribing narcotics to all of her patients without any communication, last year. Some patients had been on them for a decade, but one day she decided she wasn’t giving anyone anything anymore, without any explanation and despite if it had been allowing them to ambulate normally. My pharmacist also thought it was not in the best practice, not to slowly wean patients off, and said she must have gotten in trouble for something, because it was so sudden. This doctor showed no signs of empathy either and we all saw how mean she was inside. If your are seeing good reviews for this doctor, look at the dates they were written. They are probably prior to spring 2018. Back then she helped many with narcotics. Some of us did… not abuse them and they truly were the only way to get out of bed and function. Now, we’re back in bed, depressed and hoping for new advances in autoimmune diseases. I recommend finding a different rheumatoid doctor who searches for the best treatments and truly wants you to feel better. The doctor have now is wonderful and I have never felt better. He says he has heard my same complaints of Dr Kuchynski from other patients in the past. That’s pretty bad, because the cities these doctors work in are no way near each other. Take it from me: Steer clear from this whack.

I love Dr K!! I moved to Akron, but still travel to Brunswick because I will not switch doctors. She takes the time to find out what's going on with you and discusses the best treatment.

I love this Dr! She's very caring and listens to your story. She's very prompt to get to the bottom of your problems and figure out what's going on. She followed up like she promised and was quick to call in my medication.

I have been with Dr. K for a lot of years for Rheumatoid Arthritis and the side effects and complications arising from it. She has controlled my disease extremely well and is always ready to help me when I need it.

Unless you already know what is going on with you or your loved ones health issues I would never send anyone her way. She has great bedside manner but that is my only compliment. I feel as if I wasted my time seeing her. She is terrible about talking to other doctors and sending any needed info and if you are the least bit of a complicated case, do not expect any answers or even her to call you about the test/scans she orders. Simply put, if you have answers and just need basic treatment, she's fine. If you have more than one issue and need answers, she is not the doctor for you.

Terrible Dr.! rushed threw visit in 5 minutes. did not listen to anything I said. only tested blood for a few things, but never heard from her again- 4 years later I'm 10 X's worse but next Dr said you saw her and she said you were fine. what?

Dr. K makes me feel so at ease. She is very easy to talk to too. Her staff have always been friendly. Some doctors make you feel silly or that your complaints are not valid. Have never felt this way with Dr. K. Very compassionate!

Dr. Kuchynski is always accurate with her diagnosis and can do it with an exam and xray only for confirmation. She is extremely well versed in new treatments. Her long term care is her best attribute. When meds stop working she changes them and always ends up prescribing something that helps me, despite my nervous apprehensions. She is laid back and makes you very comfortable during the visit. I am extremely lucky to have found her and would and have recommended her to my closest family.
