I loved the way Dr. Olseth explained the treatment options!

Dr. Olseth is exactly what I needed to help get my life back on track. She helped diagnose me and explain to me what it meant. She always answered questions, and was honest. I can't say how wonderful that felt, and still feels when I have to check back in.

I appreciate that she actually has a discussion with me. She wants to hear from me rather than cutting me off like other psychiatrists.

After seeing other psychiatrists over the years, I have finally found someone who actually listens and understands how medications work. Definitely the best psychiatrist I have ever seen (I've seen a few)

My experience with Marie was terrible. She had horrible/to no follow up and is very disorganized. I simply questioned her recommendations on medication changes and voice my concerns about the treatment, and she was unreasonably defensive. She also has a temper that I witnessed first hand and she actually hung up on me on the phone. For someone in her profession, I can't imagine treating patients the way I was treated. She didn't spend the allotted 90 minutes with me during my intake, yet billed me for the entire time. Voicemails went unanswered, she didn't follow through with her promises to remediate and make up for the time she overbilled. She didn't seem to have the least bit of concern for my wellbeing or needs. I am not one to complain or write reviews but I feel obligated to share this experience.

I like that she discusses options and explains treatment

She was very unprofessional, and very judgmental of clients if they don't fit the "standard" for the area. The building/office is very upscale with other businesses surrounding. Many of them looked down on me as I went for appointments because I wasn't dressed up like they were. The only positive experience was with her intake person who took payments and set up appointments. I was put on five different medications, not at the same time, but was up to four at one time at one point. She was constantly changing my medications and doses. She made me feel very uncomfortable and she was very fake feeling. I thought she'd be good because I heard great things about her, but I was very disappointed. Often times she was even almost a half hour late with my appointments. She'd go over time with patients, making other appointments start extremely late, often times making me late for other appointments.

Dr. Olseth helped me work through my issues with addiction without judgment. As she has treated my depression I have been able to stay sober.
