Dr. Marie Overbeck, MD

Dr. Overbeck chose internal medicine because she enjoys being at the center of a patient's care and being involved in every aspect of their health. She enjoys building a personal connection with each patient and offering support as they navigate through any health challenges they may face.Her special interests include palliative care and goals of care conversations. She believes that in having discussions earlier in the disease progression so patients can be prepared for any outcome.Dr. Overbeck's journey in pursuing her medical career has been greatly supported by her family, including her parents and husband. Their encouragement played a major role in shaping her success.In her spare time, she has volunteered as a coach for Special Olympics swimming. Currently, she volunteers at her church.When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her daughter and watching her grow. She also enjoys vegetable gardening and cultivating her flower gardening skills.
