Dr. Mariela Salinas, MD

Staff primarily but also doctor didn't take my care seriously, laughed at my notes

I was Dr. Salinas patient (male) for a year before she moved on to become an allergist and the practice she was employed by was sold. She thought about my health, discussed issues with me, and didn't just stare at the lab results on the screen. You know how doctors have to read your summary on the screen when they arrive in the exam room to re-familiarize themselves with who you are? Well, she never made that obvious like so many of the others. I liked her for my doctor and I wish she had not left the practice. She also made a really good call prescribing an antiquated drug for a specific small problem I had and it worked marvelously because it was obscurely known to be efficacious for that problem. She tought of that whereas so many others may not have.
