When someone has a SCHEDULED appointment and arrives 30 minutes early for the appointment, they should not have to wait until absolutely everyone else in the waiting room is waited on, including people with later appointments! There were a few people already there, so it's understandable that those individuals would get waited on first. However, even people coming in with later appointments were ushered in to see the doctor first. When a person arrives early to their appointment, it's assumed that they will be seen somewhere near their appointment time and not 2-3 hours later. After all, people coming to see this doctor probably have arthritis issues and find mobility difficult after sitting for hours. When someone has an appointment, they expect to be seen in a timely manner; not have to wait until EVERYONE ELSE in the waiting room is seen first, whether they arrived 20 minutes before or 120 minutes later. It's totally unacceptable to make someone sit in a waiting room for that long!… Unfortunately, this survey requires at least 1 star. I preferred to not give any stars.

Have been treated for Polymyositis and Classic Dermatomyositis and Sjogrens for past 2-3 years. Fully trust her and her husband Phillip who is also an Internist and Rheumatologist and treating me.

Dr Marielisa is an outstanding Rheumatologist who is an expert with all the Autoimmune Rheumatic Neuomuscular diseases and Arthritis. I thought I would have to travel a 100s of miles for a specialist experienced enough with Dermatomyositis and Sjogren's Syndrome, but not so. Not only is Dr Marielisa Sedrish a great Rheumatologist, but she has many patients with these rare diseases that they come from 100 miles away to be taken care of by her. An added Benefit is her Husban Dr Phillip Sedrish with similar background, experience, and friendliness. I am so lucky to be under their care for the past three years being treated for an uncureable and very rare Autoimmune Rheumatic Neuromuscular and Skin Disease. I have met so many of their patients with the same and similar diseases that all feel the same as I do.Thanks Doctors Marielisa and Phillip Sedrish of Gulf Coast Rheumatology. Their staff is one of the best I have ever been associated with, so my thanks to all of them as well, who have… helped me so much too.
