I think she's a great doctor myself. I had my first colonoscopy last year, and even though she recommended anesthesia, I joined the 1% club (of Americans) who did it without. It's really not that bad. Let me be clear: it's really not that fun, either, but it wasn't painful, mostly fine, with a few spots in the turns that were really uncomfortable, but they get you through it. Polyp removal is painless. Honestly, the worst part was the prep, which has nothing to do with her and even that wasn't that bad. You don't have to be right near the bathroom, you just need to go TO the bathroom when you get that feeling like, "Maybe now?" If you're wondering the answer is yes: go. That's not even the worst part, the worst part is the no eating at the end. But, yeah, I recommend her 100%. Oh, 52, male.

Dr. Freitas has an outstanding bedside manner, she listens, explains everything, she is extremely funny, which helped ease my jitters. I highly recommend Dr. Freitas; she understands the needs of her patients making sure that we are taken care of. Thanks to Dr. Freitas , her God given talent saved my husband's life, I cannot thank her enough, she had to take over another Dr.H botched procedure. However, at St. Vincents my husband caught C-dif, and another Dr. gave him a wrong medicine, which had a terrible effect on my husband. But I cannot thank this Dr. Marilee Freitas enough. He only saw her once after the surgery in her office, but always returned calls.

She is one of the Best.
