Dr. Marilyn Rose Capek, MD

Dr. Capek is knowledgeable, gives thorough explanations for any treatments, and is happy to answer any of my additional questions. I've seen her for routine checkups as well as some specific issues with eczema and allergies, and I've always been happy with my care. I highly recommend them

Both my husband and I have see Dr. Capek on numerous occasions. I found her to be professional, informative and extremely helpful. She new exactly what my issue was and was able to prescribe the needed medicine. Dr. Capek answered my questions and even gave me an additional source where I could read up on something unrelated to to my initial visit. I want to have a chemical peel in the near future, so I will be visiting her then.

Dr. Capek was extremely thorough, She listened to all concerns and addressed all of my questions with knowledge and depth. She took care of everything that needed to be done right at my first visit instead of having me come back. All of the staff at the office was kind and welcoming.

I've seen Dr. Capek for several years and although I think she is a good medical doctor the fact that she makes you wait so long is very frustrating. I always book a 9:00am appointment yet I am not seen until 9:40 or later. Over the years she has shifted her focus towards products. Now when I go there they don't want to treat me medically they just want to push products on me. He medical assistant is especially pushy and has lied about products efficacy and the need for them. If you're looking for a beauty spa she has a lot of products but she is no longer an ethical doctor in my opinion.

She is as good, if not better, than any of the famous doctors, plastic surgeons and dermatologists, that I have seen in NYC. She has a great eye and you will not be disappointed if you just let her do what she thinks best. She will detect the slightest imbalance in your face. To top it all off, she has the warmest, kindest and most friendly personality I have ever encountered in any doctor anywhere.

Dr Capek is very good and thorough. She takes time to listen and then recommends what she feels would be best for the patient. I highly recommend her!!

She and the staff have no problem having you wait for over an hour. She over books and basically acts like her time and she knows everything about everything. She pushed my mum into buying expensive creams to remove Blackheads! She could of done it simply with a tool! Can't stand her. So many wonderful Drs out there. She is possibly the worst in every way. She has NO empathy or people skills. Her knowledge is poor compared to Dermatologists at MGH. I would stay far away. Unless you want a poor attention, pushy into procedures, bad recommendations and it will take three hours out of your day. Never ever again. Thanks Dr Capek for the nickel sized scar on my arm from a mole removal. MGH Dr couldn't believe it was done so poorly and such lack of care for how the scar would heal. Negative 10 Stars??

when I made the appointment I asked them up front if they remove pilar cysts and they said yes; however, after waiting over an hour before being seen, she said she don't do that type of surgery and gave me a big sales presentation to sell you expensive beauty products. Don't waste your time.

Dr. Capek is the absolute best in the Boston area for dermatology. I've been seeing her for over 10 years and she is fantastic. She cares about her patients, is very knowledgable - usually if I ever have an issue she solves it in literally under 5 minutes. She is always up to date with the latest technologies and innovations as well. I credit my skin looking so amazing to her with annual visits and sticking to the regime she advises me to use.

This doctor was in and out of the room so fast my head spun. She was more interested in me getting procedures than treating my acne. She talked me into lip injections. They came out uneven & I have a permanent scar on my lip. She was awful when I came back to get it fixed.
