Dr. Marilyn Rose Janke, MD

Dr. Janke has always been patient and very nice. I recommend her to everyone because yeah shes your doctor but to me she’s known my whole life. Shes always wanted the better for me. Shes always help me when i was sick. She recommends things you should eat to stay healthy which is a very good thing. Shes gone out of her way to recommend other things to me. Dr. Janke has knew me since i was a baby and now here i am 18 years old. ??

Dr. janke has absolutely changed my life as a mother of 3 child two of which are special needs children . I have to be able to get in and out of the doctors offices with that ease . I do not have hours or days to be sitting in a waiting room . I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes but it would be worth it even if I did because she spends adequate amount of time with my children . she is amazing . I would never want my children to see anyone else . I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Jankie The saying she goes above and beyond does not even begin to measure . She truly listens to everything that you say . She has impacted my life in ways that I could never ever express . If you have a special needs child I would highly recommend Dr. Jankie

I had and always have a great experiance with Dr Janke and her wonderful nurse she has had for the last several years! I love Dr Van Maele too. The only thing I could say was Dr Janke's nurse seemed to be working hard while other nurses were just standing around, I had to wait for shots while the tall skinny nurse just sat there.

I took my son in due to his vomitting. She immediately started to question me as to why I am not "treating" my sons ADD. I tried to explain to her that his regular pediatrician, his school counselor, psychologist, teacher and myself have been working together and developed a succesful plan for him. None of us feel that medication is necessary AT THIS TIME. He only struggles in math and does not have any behavior problems. She preceeded to tell me that "that will not work." She then, in front of my 8 year old son, said "other kids are going to make fun of him." "He will become depressed. You are harming him." She has no right to undermine her colleague, other professionals and myself in this matter which she has no information. I have fought for my son and helped him be successful and happy to this point. There may come a day for medication and that is okay too but just because he is not on medication does not mean his ADD is "untreated." I felt attacked as she questioned me as a mother… in front of my son. I will never see her again and would not recommend her to anyone I know. As for the vomitting she concluded it was probably acid reflux even though the only sympton he has is vomitting. I have no confidence in Dr. Janke and next time, will wait to see our regular doctor whom I trust and believe in 100%.

She is a great doctor and very kind. My only complaint would be the grouchy front office staff. We love this doctor though so we tolerate the front office.

Dr. Janke has been an absolute answer to our prayers. She has been amazing with our ADHD child, transforming him to a much happier, well adjusted teenager. She not only takes into consideration medications but speaks to the children on their level, making them feel cared for, which does wonders when a child is frustrated from being overstimulated for far too many years. She has been fantastic through broken legs, kidney issues, and anything else we have brought to their office with our four boys. The nurses are informative, polite and answer calls without delay. Office staff is courteous, efficient and always have a smile. Overall a fantastic practice.

Dr. Janke met with me prior to becoming my daughter's pediatrician and gave me over an hour of her time (free of charge!) to discuss our family history, any concerns I had about my daughter's health and offer advice on nutrition, behavior, etc. She was very knowledgeable (we have some rare medical conditions in the family history and she is the ONLY pediatrician that has ever known what they were without any explanation). After several bad experiences with pediatricians in Denton, finding Dr. Janke has been such a relief. I plan to stay with her until she retires or my child becomes an adult, whichever comes first.I also love that they have a well child waiting room so that sick kids and those there for a check-up don't share germs. Brilliant idea!

Absolutely love Dr. Janke. She has been treating my son for 5+ years and wouldn't have it any other way!
