Dr. Marilyn Ann Solsky, MD

Dr. Solsky is an excellent physician because she creates for her patients a caring ethos. She takes her time with each patient, listening carefully to their symptoms and then provides a holistic approach to helping each get better. I will attest to her commitment to making sure all of her patients get healthier.

Count on appts always being 1-2 hours late (even though she’ll say she’s working on it). If you leave due to her running late and in my case bad weather, she will call and scold you for leaving. Her knowledge of anything is quickly overshadowed by her lack of organization and bedside manner. I went to her for over 3 years for several reasons including Fibromyalgia. I started realizing her appointments were putting me flares from the stress of waiting, never knowing her mood, and the feeling of walking on eggshells around her. Since that time she has refused to release my medical records to me. I have offered to pay her inflated prices for medical documentation but she will not even respond with an amount. This has put my disability case off for an additional 8 months… & counting. I would highly recommend anyone other than Dr Solsky, especially if you’d like access to your medical information.

Dr. Solsky is one of the most intelligent caring rheumatologists I have ever seen and trust me I have seen them all. I have a complicated disease and she is there for me every step of the way. Each appointment is around an hour so you have time to ask every possible question you can think of. One day I will beat this disease and Dr. Solsky will be a big reason why. She truly cares about her patients. I feel very lucky to have her and I wont be changing doctors like I did the first ten times. Best wishes to everyone out there suffering from these diseases and who knows Dr. Solsky could be the one that leads you to remission.

If you want cookie-cutter treatment, go somewhere else. Dr. Solsky actually listens and cares enough to take extra time to explore your ailments. She extends the same courtesy to other patients, so appointments run late (just call ahead of heading over). She is honest and to-the-point, not conventional, all of which is needed to get a "whole body" perspective and treatment. My quality of life is so much more improved, thanks to her. She was able to diagnose several conditions that had been overlooked for years. A superior physician compared to most.

This isn't my first rodeo - a popular saying and unfortunately, one that many people might be able to share when it comes to struggling with health issues and fatigue. Having gone to one specialist after another for years, Dr. Solsky was the first to actually LISTEN to me. She then also CARED enough to go through my medical records and order new testing. Dr. Solsky not only discovered past conditions that had gone undiagnosed over the years, but has been steadfast in her care to ensure all of my ailments are addressed. If you want conventional, cookie-cutter care, then go somewhere else. Dr. Solsky doesn't focus on one part of the body, she treats the whole person. She takes her time to explore all the angles and ask important questions; she doesn't rush you during your visit (the same courtesy is given to other patients, so appointments do run late). I am feeling better and my quality of life has improved, thanks to her.

Marilyn did the most thorough new patient visit I have ever had. She spent a great deal of time reviewing my past medical history, including review of labs and scans. She did a very complete physical exam, more than any of my other doctors have ever done. She was genuinely interested in my current and past physical complaints as well as my mental state. The entire time I was with her she was engaged and I never once felt rushed or that my issues were insignificant. I feel blessed that I have finally found a doctor who is genuinely concerned about my health and my future good health. A lot of doctors could learn from Marilyn how to be better doctors and how to realize their patients are more than a few tests.

I was ON TIME to my appointment when she showed up 3 hours LATE! She was very rude and disrespectful. She even called me FAT! I DO NOT recommend anybody go to her for ANYTHING

Dr Solsky is the BEST Dr that I've ever had. She's very thorough and I trust her implicitly. She's an excellent Dr. and a good friend. My husband I both love her.

Never go to her. She forgot everything from the first appointment to the 2nd. Admitted she charges extra because she can. Showed up 3 hours late to the appointment. Even the front desk did not like her. Don’t waste your time.
