Dr. Marina Alexandrova, MD

This doctor has literally saved my life working with me understanding me helping me through all my problems. I thank the Lord that I found this type of doctor.

Dr Alex has been my Dr for 6 years now and out of dozens of Drs she is by Far the sweetest, Most caring Women i have ever met. She has 2 Kids my age ( 25 ) and she treats me like her own son. Shes very very Bright, Funny and a feisty russian girl haha. I always look forward to seeing her. Shes also very careful as far as narcotics and controlled substances go as well, unlike a huge number of physicians these days, and is a fantastic addiction specialist. Shes able To prescribe Suboxone and more than happy to help those willing to follow her rules and put in the work to turn their life around. I could go on and on but hey i think i got my point across... I wouldnt be here today without her and owe her everything. Xo Thanks So Much Dr Alex! You are the best!

I was a patient of Dr. Alex for years and than she turned into a money doctor. I won't get into my personal health issues but her true colors eventually came out. She cares more about money than about the patient. Very disappointed in her. I would NOT recommend her. I had a prescription issue and her office told me she would give me a script if I paid 200.00. What kind of doctor does that?? Unbelievable.

I have been a patient of Dr Alexandrova for a few years. I needed a new primary care physician and I am very satisfied with her, more so than any of the several doctors I see for chronic autoimmune diseases. She doesn’t treat patients like a number to be seen for 5 minutes. She is a very compassionate doctor who cares about her patients and her medical practice. I read one negative comment, most are excellent, about her. I thought it was unfair. Health care has changed a lot, and doctors are scrutinized by state medical boards and regulatory agencies. It’s annoying and exasperating when a doctor has to tell a patient that they can no longer prescribe certain medications they have previously prescribed. You are told to see a physician who specializes in that field of medicine. Doctors are just as frustrated with the new guidelines. If you’re on a medication that requires you to see a specialist it’s because the board of medicine in New Jersey has stipulated it. Not the doctor. They… must adhere or risk losing the license they worked so hard for. I hope Dr. Alexandrova continues to practice medicine for a long time. I know it would be difficult, maybe impossible to find another physician like her. The office staff is very good and try their best to accommodate. If you’re looking for a diligent, empathetic and capable physician, Dr Alexandrova is an ideal choice.

I have been with her for a few years and she is one of the best. She refuses to be scammed by insurance companies and I don't blame her. She is a Dr who cares about her patients. Be honest with her and she will be your friend and Dr. What a wonderful person she is.

Dr.Alexandrova is the only Dr I’ve ever been to who actually Listens to any concerns & all questions that I have and always does anything that she can to try to help. Yes she can be very bluntly honest but to me that is a good thing. She always remembers everything that is going on with my numerous health problems and seems to Genuinely Care, a quality that I have never felt from any other of my previous Drs

Please do not go to Dr. Alexandrova for treatment of allergies, edema, and weight loss. I did and it led to much additional suffering and mental distress. I was coughing from allergies to spring pollen and she gave me a steroid shot In my left shoulder. within three days, I was coughing my brains out and I had to go to the ER because I could not breathe. I ended up with a diagnosis of bronchitis and eventually asthma. The edema in my feet was blamed by Dr. Alexandrova on my daily Abilify tablet. She ordered me to stop all psychiatric medications and to tell my psychiatrist that it was okay. To my amazement, the psychiatrist agreed to listen to Dr. Alexandrova for one month which threw my body and bipolar disorder into a tailspin. Unable to get well on my own, I was hospitalized and continued to suffer the after effects up to a month after leaving the hospital. The edema was from too much walking and the humidity.Finally, I am overweight from the psychiatric medicines I take,… Dr. Alexandrova told me to go for bypass surgery out of the blue and offered no other options.

do not go to this doctor she is money hungry and tries to scam the insurance companies with bogus claims and additional charges....Self Pay Patients who are told no additional fees get lab bills months and months later because her office failed to let the patients know they were being sent to a lab in New York which is not in network with the patients insurance carrier....Horrible way to treat patients and she does not like to help you she doesn't want to listen to you she just wants her money and will write scripts for anything for a $$$$$$. I didn't even want to give a 1 star but then you can't submit the review

I Have Been seeing Dr. Alexandrova for about 4 years now and she is the best doctor i have ever had! she treats me like a son and does anything to help me and her patients! You must show her respect and follow her rules because not only is it the right thing to do, but she is a tough Russian chick and will not take any Bull. She has 2 Kids my age (24) who she loves dearly and is a great mom. I look forward to seeing her every month and could not be happier. Like i said, she treats me like 1 of her own kids. This Doctor is ONLY interested in making money, not your health!!! Went there for a routine physical ,she spent more time explaining how my next payments would be{even though i'm fully insured} than any other thing. Also tried to sell me on weight loss surgery! Very hard to understand and absolutely incompetent . Just going there for my follow up physical results and NEVER again!!
