I've meet Marina almost 3 years ago, and I just wanna express my gratitude and kindness to her person. As a dentist she's very responsive,responsible, professional and knowledgeable. The best thing to work with her, she's always listening all the time, and together you will find best solution to solve your problem. Very and very reasonable prices. I first came to MyDental in Lutz about 2 years ago with severe pain from a cracked tooth that got infected. On the same day I called in great pain, Dr Marina Shurova scheduled me in and removed the bad tooth without any issues. I came back afterwards for a comprehensive exam with X-rays, and some corrections and fillings for the remainder of my mouth. The experience with Dr Shurova was so good, I have been going back to MyDental on a 6 month cycle for check-ups and cleanings ever since. I really appreciate the way that they keep track of my oral health proactively with things to watch and possible future problems explained in easy to understand terms. They are great at sending reminders ahead of time for scheduled cleanings and cavity checks. What I like most is that MyDental is a small office with one doctor who is familiar with my teeth and my specific needs, it is how medical care used to be, personal and friendly. Also, there is a lot to be said for a soft touch and small hands… in dental care.

My family has been seeing Dr. Marina Shurova at MyDental in Lutz since we moved from Ukraine in 2022, and we couldn’t be happier with the care we’ve received. Dr. Shurova treated cavities for both of my daughters with excellent fillings and also saved my wisdom tooth when it broke. In 2025, I broke one of my front teeth, and she got me in very quickly. She removed the damaged tooth, replaced it with a bridge, and even improved my bite in the process. The result looks and feels great. We do not have dental insurance, so we’ve paid for all of our treatment out of pocket. The fees have always been fair and reasonable, and I have never felt pressured into unnecessary procedures. Dr. Shurova takes the time to explain all of the options and only recommends what is truly needed. Dr. Marina Shurova is top notch. Her expertise in all dental processes is deep and exceptional. She makes you feel comfortable when you are receiving treatment. She has a strong set of Dental specialists which she can recommend for processes she does not perform. She has provided TMJ management and really knows her stuff I highly recommend her for any dental procedure you might need. In my 55 years of being a dental patient, she is the best dentist that I ever had.

She is the only dentist I have been to that my jaws didn’t hurt when I was done. She would give me breaks. She took x-rays and filled teeth. She worked on my jaws, and made a bridge for my upper teeth.

I had a great experience getting a tooth extracted by Dr.Shurova. The procedure was completely painless and very quick. The doctor and the staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel completely at ease. Highly recommended!

This past Monday night I experienced a great deal of pain while trying to eat at a restaurant. The pain continued on Tuesday so I called Dr. Shurova. She gratuously agreed to work me into her schedule on Wednesday. After xrays and examination Dr. Shurova and her assistant Jasmine determined that my back tooth was infected. She prescribed an antibiotic to treat the infection. When I feel better I plan to return complete the treatment. Dr. Shurova has been my dentist for over 5 years and every time I see her, I have been blessed by her kind manner and true concern for her patients. She and Jasmine are "earth angels".
