Mario Gasparri, MD

I met with Dr. Gasparri, about pain in my ribs that I had broken several years earlier. I had rib plates installed at the time of the accident. Dr. Gasparri recommended that I have a scan done. The chest scan revealed abnormal bone growth. Dr. Gasparri recommended surgery to remove the bone growth. He also said that he could remove the rib plates and eliminate pain in my chest by removing my ziphoid process. After the surgery, Dr. Gasparri informed me that after removing one of the chest plate screws and damaging a second that he was not able to remove the plates. He removed my ziphoid process. Since the surgery I have been in constant pain and unable to return to my normal activities. I am still trying years later to find help to eliminate the constant pain and correct the surgery that Dr. Gasparri did. I would not recommend Dr. Gasparri.
