I was very sad to leave the state and having Dr Gomez for my psychiatric care. I still miss him and our work many yrs later. I'd love it if he moved to this area

Very comprehensive care and impressive knowledge of his expertise & bedside manner was outstanding. Very glad I found him and highly recommend him to anyone suffering from mental illness.

I was very nervous when I first saw Dr. Gomez, right away he made me feel comfortable and I felt free to talk to him about all of my concerns and issues. He went over a few things with me and was able to explain a lot of things, I thought I was going crazy. He is currently treating me with medication and he seemed concerned and listened to every word I said.

Dumbest worst doctor I've ever seen in my life I've seen some bad ones this guy only nods his head when he understands English and will then knock you out of his office and diagnose you with whatever he thinks you have of the day and then hospitalize you as frequently as possible watch out for this guy is a clown

Dr. Mario Gomez is the first psychiatrist I've been to since moving to VA that seems to actually care. He takes his time with me, listens, and treat me with kindness. He's very understanding and non judgemental. He's the first doctor I've been to in VA that makes me feel comfortable. He seems to really care about my feelings. I'm so glad I found him.

Although the website indicates they are taking new patients, when I called in they said they were not and had no referrals for me.
