Dr. Mario Alfred Lanza, MD

Dr. Lanza has been my primary care physician for the past 4 years since I relocated to Kansas. I have found him to be quite competent and willing to listen to my concerns and answer questions. He took time to investigate my concerns and make referrals that were needed. As with any change, it took a little while for me to adjust to a new provider,but have come to very much apreciate the quality of care I have received from Dr. Lanza and his staff.

Dr Lanza- I don’t know if u remember me or not but back some years ago when u were here in AK- u were my PCP at the clinic across from college mall on northern lights blvd. Back then, I was still actively working in the health profession myself. U diagnosed me with PSA and factor for RA.z both of which my mother had and maternal grandfather. I’m reaching out to tell u thank u for catching it and for helping to educate me on it . I will always be grateful to u for that and I’m hoping this reaches u and that u will reach back out to me in kind. Not thorough at all. Quite angry & distracted- just not interested in patient at all almost in a rude way. Fired. Will never go back. Do your health a favor and find a good Dr this one is not near smart enough for his attitude. Dangerous.

This person claims to run a family focused practice but has been cheating on his wife with one if his married staff members. The man is a master manipulator and should be trusted with anything let alone something as precious as your health.

I started seeing Dr. Lanza because my primary doctor closed his practice. At first, Dr. Lanza appears to be caring and thorough - that is until you, as a proactive patient, have the audacity to ask questions or try to become involved in your own healthcare. He is extremely dismissive. It is his way or no way. He is condescending and unbelievably arrogant. And he continually tells you how smart he is. It’s laughable. I have every intention of telling everyone I know what a joke of a practice he runs and what an arrogant jerk he is.

Lost Dr. Grobner when she moved, and went to Lanza a few times. OK, but let me know that he was in the business of making money and that he would not work to consolidate visits if it cost him money. "I didn't go to medical school to give away 10s or thousands of dollars a year". The solution was to attempt to schedule me for 3 separate visits instead of one. Since I am pretty sure his is in a higher bracket than me I have elected to go elsewhere.

Although I had good experiences in the past, I had to fire Lanza. Never even got to see him after waiting 2 hours and dealing with the rude receptionist. Finally walked out when they were closing for the day - nobody even bothered to call and follow up. It was remarkaby bad service. Nobody really cares in this office anymore.

Appointment was on time and Dr. Lanza's diagnosis and treatment happily proved correct and appropriate. Highly recommend Alyeska as a family doctor.
