Dr. Mario Hernandez Magsino, MD

This doctor did not take my father's symptoms very serious. I would call the office and the nurse was not very friendly. My father ended up in the emergency room and 3 weeks later was diagnosed with brain cancer. Not a fan of his bed side manners .

Dr. Magsino is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor! He actually sits down and talks with his patients, you rarely get that with doctors anymore! I have chronic back pain and his care helped me get back to living my life! He is a great doctor!

This man is being paid by the SUNY Oswego to keep insurance costs down. Some techniques he uses are, for example, misdiagnosing common things such as infections which require antibiotics as simple colds. It gets more serious, he misdiagnosed my shingles, which are very easy to spot. Upon the nurse telling him that they were definitely shingles, he said medicine wasn't necessary because it was too late. I insisted on medicine and learned later from my primary doctor that if I had skipped the medicine, I would've had serious problems.
