Dr. Mario Jose Mangas, MD

Dr. Mangas is a really professioinal, courteous, knowleadgable and tells you whay you need to know in a very nice manner.

He is my doctor for more than 15 years and never had an asthma attack again. For me he is the best specialist in pulmonary disease.

I was totally impressed with this office!! From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, everyone at this office was professional, courteous and very well informed. Dr. Mangas was extremely thorough in his examination. He took his time with me, explained everything he was doing. Explained every single test his staff would be doing and the reason for each test. He met with me after getting the results of the tests, explained each and every result and thoroughly explained each and every prescription he was giving me. I never felt he was in a hurry to finish up and I can definitely say this doctor has outstanding bedside manners. On my way out, he even said that he would like to hear from me in the next couple of days to see how I am feeling and if I didn't call him, he would call me. :) On a scale of 1 to 10 Dr. Mangas is a 10+++++ on my list! I will definitely recommend him to everyone I know.

Definitely the best Pulmonologist in Miami. Have dealt with several and he is professional, caring and very patient. He takes the time to explain steps and what he is recommending in order to improve and maintain your health. He is very straight forward and honest about what needs to be done and makes sure you understand what needs to be done on both sides! Although some times the wait times can be lengthy, but it's well worth it because he takes his time with you and doesn't just do assembly-line waiting rooms. When he is in the room you have his full attention! Definitely recommend this doctors to EVERYONE!!

DR Mangas is a doctor who took his time with me and explain my medical problem and treatment he would recommend and why. I am so glad I finally found a doctor that I can count on.

For the past couple of years I have visited many doctors looking for a diagnosis to my problem. Each visit felt like I was just "another patient," or a "number" on a long list of things to do and people to see. That changed when I saw Dr. Mangas. Not only was he personable and professional, but he took his time with me. He asked many questions and offered me many options. I finally felt like a person, not just an appointment. Not only was he professional, but everyone was incredibly friendly as well. His bedside manner is second to none. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Mangas to anyone who asks. He and his faculty provided me with a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

A truly fine doctor. A friend referred me to Dr. Mangas and I am eternally grateful. He showed me compassion and really listened to me, unlike many other doctors that I had been to. I initially went in for shortness of breath and cough. He asked me a number of questions and ordered some tests that lead him to my diagnosis of Chronic Bronchitis. He started me on some medication and I immediately felt a difference. I can finally breathe and live a normal life. NOW I am able to play with my grandkids and walk my dogs. I feel like he gave me my life back.

After seeing multiple doctors who couldn't help me with my condition. Almost to the point of giving up I was referred to Dr. Mangas. Dr Mangas' personnel were great while checking in and when I sat with him he took all the time I needed answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. He was able to diagnoses condition and prescribe a medication and therapy regimen that has changed the way I can make it through the day. He was amazing.
