Dr. Mario Felipe Moquete, MD

Primero no sabe nada de nutrición. Solo prescribe como un loro la basura que le enseñaron y es para ganarse los bonos que le dan por esas medícinas basura que prescribe. No escucha a los pacientes. Es muy rudo y no te deja hablar ni explicarte la situación en la que estás. Es tan rudo que te dice... "bueno si no va a hacer lo que le digo es problema suyo" es una basura de doctor.

WENT TO SEE HIM CAUSE I NEEDED A COLONOSCOPY, HE EXPLAINED WHAT THE PROCEDURE WAS AND ANSWERED ANY QUESTION I HAD. HIS STAFF WAS VERY PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL. WOULD RECOMMEND HIM

I was trying to explain to him my husband's symptoms and he told me to shut up and let my husband talk to him and kicked me out of the room. He is very unprofessional and very rude! I do not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Moquete can seem rushed and abrupt, but that's because he's thorough. Had a great experience with him as a physician and for the diagnostic tests he ran. His office was top notch and very kind....not like an impersonal medical factory, but more like an old school doctor's office where they know you and are very flexible to help you.

He’s not helping much with helping the patience complaint of stomach problem and recommends the same medication one buys otc !

Worst doctor ever. The office staff has no personality. Go elsewhere.

Excellent GI doctor. He is very thouroug and goes above and beyond for his patients well being. I highly recommend Dr. Moquete.

Horrible bed side manners, EXTREMLEY rude to his staff and patients. Always in a rush and does not let anyone talk. He mocks concerns of patients instead of helping them. The way he speaks to his staff made me extremely uncomfortable and he is all about money!!! He is Always late EVERY time I have a appointment and I have heard so many awful things about him!!!! The WHOLE community misses Dr. Johnson they don't make them like him anymore.

I called to make and appointment with Dr James Johnson who was recommended by Cigna. I made the appointment and was never told that I would have to pay more than the $25.00 copay. When I arrived I waited then had to go and see if there were and papers I had to fill out. I was told that I would have to pay $136.00 because I had not met my deductible. I have never had to pay above my co pay ever. When I question this the young man at the counter said that is what the insurance requires. I called Cigna when I got home and found out that they didn't require it that the doctors office did. Then I found out from a patient sitting in the waiting room (who also had issues because he had been seeing Dr Johnson and just found out that Dr Johnson was not seeing patience and that they lost his record and the office business manager came out and talked to him right in front of us, isn't that against HIPP regulations, that was when we found out that we would not be seeing Dr James Johnson, after we… brought it to the attention of the young man at the counter ). We then asked why were not told before that we were seeing another doctor and not Dr. Johnson. They gave some lame excuse. I told the young man at the counter I paid to see Dr. Johnson and with a smirk he said well that isn't going to happen. The more I talked to him the more of smirk he got. Finally he said would you like to speak to the office manager. When the office manager came she was more of the same, rude and said if you want to see Dr Johnson that isn't going to happen. She said if you want your money back then we will do that. I said I will stay and see what happens. When I sat down I could see the office personnel laughing and looking at me. I thought how unprofessional and went to the counter and confronted them and ended up getting my money back. I would not recommend the Lakeland, Florida location to anyone. Stay clear of the Doctor office. Oh by way the patient I mentioned above ended up leaving also calling them all quacks.
