Pediatric Dentistry
Mario E. Ramos, D.M.D., is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a graduate of UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School, and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine- Boston’s Children’s Hospital, where he received his Pediatric Dental specialty training.  Dr. Ramos is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the New Jersey Dental School for the past 14 years. He holds a staff position at University Hospital, Newark.  He is the Chairman of the Council on Continuing Education for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.  He is a Past President of the National Hispanic Dental Association.  Dr. Ramos is founder and Director of the “Smiles With Pride” project which provides dental care to homeless children.  Dr. Ramos has lectured on a variety of Pediatric Dental topics both nationally and internationally.  He is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Bergen County Dental Society, American …Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry College of Diplomates, New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Hispanic Dental Association, and the Association of Public Health Dentistry.  Dr. Ramos was chosen by his peers as a Top Dentist in Pediatric Dentistry in New Jersey Monthly Magazine in July 2009.  He was the only Pediatric Dentist chosen in Bergen County.
He is a lifelong resident of New Jersey and is fluent in Spanish.
