Dr. Mario Rivera Bernuy is a great endocrinologist. He seems to be very caring towards his patients.

Dr. Rivera is excellent. It's obvious he had taken the time to review my history thoroughly, and he took the time to listen to and answer any questions.

This provider listened to me and took all of my concerns in consideration. He also talked to me about risks of my condition about what it possibly could be. He was very thorough. I would definitely recommend him, he was excellent and I also did not feel rushed at my appointment with him which is hard to find with providers. He let me talk in length and he himself went into great detail and never once tried to hurry my appointment which a lot of providers do to get to their next one and he did not do that at all, it was a breath of fresh air being listened to! So great.

Horrible experience with this doctor. He talked down to me, didn't seem to be listening to what I said even if I was responding to his questions. When I became frustrated with him he said "could this all be depression or anxiety?" I have heard horror stories of women being rudely dismissed by doctors but this was my first time experiencing it for myself. I will be seeking further advice for my health problem outside of essentia.
