Dr. Mario Maurice Robbins, DO

The wait here is absolutely ridiculous. I have to sit here for hours before being seen.

Dr Robbins is one of the finest doctors that i have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. This man brought me out of a very deep deep depression, along with a great deal of other issues i needed to work through. This Doctor literally saved my life and for that i will be eternally grateful. Now i am in a great spot mentally and it is mostly due to the man that i call DOC. Thanks Dr Robbins !!!!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Robbins for the last six years although it is true he has been in two locations one in Schererville Indiana and the other in the Chicago Indiana is moving habits are not erratic number two if you were looking for narcotics or controlled substances this is not the doctor to see dr. Robbins is an osteopath and treats several forms of medical conditions with his primary practice in psychiatry he is always attentive and commonly has several medical students on hand to do a type of triage to keep the waiting room moving as with any doctor the wait time will be increased if the staff mistakenly books appointments in 10 minute increments for the people that say that they sit for 2 1/2 hours every time they have an appointment that is not true I have now been to his Chicago office over 30 times and my normal weight time is usually about 30 minutes also keep in mind that he is an active on call at Saint Catherines Tri-City along with his general practice and should an… emergency occur he does take calls during session overall I would give this doctor a five out of five rating I’ve also read a lot of people reading him poorly on his prescribing practices please keep in mind that we are in an opioid crisis Currently and any doctor with type of respect Is going to do a thorough work up check your inspect and monitor your levels of any medication

I have been a patient of Dr. Robbins for many years. He is the only doctor to get my medications right in 20 years of going through this.

Compassionate, professional. He listens. Highly recommend.

Unprofessional

Robins is a good enough guy but he’s just not a very good psychiatrist. He doesn’t spend any time to know the patient his main focus is to simply dispense pills that’s all. my advice: go to someone else or your GP.

I wouldn't recommend this doctor to 'ANYONE', must less family and friends. I even went as far as talking to my primary physician to let him on how truly disappointed I was with his care. His office is always in complete chaos upon patient arrivals. Staff NEVER arrives on time, office is always overfull, medications are rarely faxed over within a timely basis to the designated pharmacy and the controlled prescriptions are always a problem to fill! Also, he can't keep a stable location.

I wish the doctor was more productive about answer.

This doctor and his staff are very organized.also very prompt.have never had a problem waiting beyond fifteen or twenty minutes past my inital appointment time.also this doctor is corteous well spoken and easy to talk to.I would highly recommend this doctor.
