Dr. Mario Zuccarello, MD

Dr. Zuccarello is an amazing person and doctor/surgeon!! I was blessed to have him as my surgeon when I had a ruptured aneurysm in 2012. He clipped the brain aneurysm and saved my life. Dr. Zuccarello was rude and arrogant. He wouldn’t even look me in the eye and disregarded testing that I had completed. I was told to go see him and I will never see him again.

I had a brain aneurysm at 30 years old, he performed my surgery, I was given a 5% chance of survival but Dr. Zuccarello performed my surgery and did an excellent job I'm here today at 40 to tell about it. He is my hero!!!

Because of Dr. Zuccarello, I am able to say I am a 4yr brain tumor SURVIVOR! He has gone over and above any doctor I’ve ever been under the care of in my entire life. I am blessed and grateful to have him as my Neurosurgeon and have recommended him to several people.

In 2007 I had a hemorrhagic stroke taken to University Hospital by Careflight Ground. Dr. Zuccarello was on consult and diagnosed the AVM even when the testing was not yet conclusive. Further tests did confirm his diagnosis. Dr. Z did the surgery with perfect results. Thank you, Dr. Zuccharello. Just writing now as I researched his name for a referral and found out about the non-compete lawsuit. Keep on saving lives.

I was scared to death finding out I had a cerebral aneurysm. Dr. Zuccarello knows his stuff! He is caring and compassionate. I am so glad he is the one overlooking my care.

Thankful. It's just that simple. Thankful to have a great Dr in the region. Thankful for his knowledge and patience and steady hands. Dr Zuccarello saw me on very short notice. He spent nearly 2 hours with my wife and I explaining what my acoustic neuroma was and how it got there and why I was having the problems I was. He was blunt in telling me I would lose my hearing but keep my facial functions. He got me in to see Dr Samy with only 2 hours notice. I could not be more thankful for this man. He spent 8 hours inside my head. I am 6 weeks post op and I feel good. I'm not back to normal but I tell you I would do it again if I knew it would be the same team of surgeons. A++ rating.

This doctor is simply one of the very best at what he does. His calm, professional demeanor set my family at ease, even in the most dire of circumstances. His bedside manner and explanations of procedures helped keep me calm, and he has access to a team of other top doctors, neurologists, and therapists which work "lock-step" with him. If it weren't for the grace of God and the miracles Dr. Z worked in my brain, I wouldn't be typing this review right now.

I just love him he is amazing and has been there for me more then I can even say. Move never had a doctor who cares about me and how I'm doing who calls to make sure ur doing on after ur surgey. I'm very blessed that I found Dr mario zuccarello when I had my back surgery due to a tumor from my NF type 2 he did an amazing job. I couldn't ask for a better doctor then him.
