Dr. Marion Lynn Luque, MD

Dr. Luque refused to see me in person for a wellness visit when I came down with a sinus Infection and had been on an antibiotic for 4 days prior to my wellness appt and no longer had symptoms. In fact Dr. Luque called me the morning of my appt and ask me to do a tele health appt instead stating that I “needed to have compassion towards her and her office staff since they had to be in a room with me for an hour to do my wellness appt”. When I ask Dr. Luque where was her compassion towards me and my ongoing medical situation considering I have a family history of cardiovascular heart disease and I was currently experiencing chest pain and tightness in my chest and anxiety along with the fact that I have extremely high blood pressure Dr. Luque responded by HANGING UP the phone on me while I was mid sentence crying trying to convince her of why I desperately needed her to evaluate me in person. This was not a coincidence that this happened as neither Dr. Luque nor anyone from her office… tried calling me back to date. This is not the first time that Dr. Luque refused to treat me. Two years prior she stated to me in an appointment that she did not feel comfortable treating my high blood pressure and so now I have to see a cardiologist to treat me when Dr . Luque should be capable of doing so. Her office staff and nurses were rude and smug. Patients be ware!!!

Best Doctor experience. She took the time to listen and explain. I felt so relieved after the visit.

Dr. Luque was my parents MD and she saw them both until they passed. She became my MD and has always been extraordinary in compassion, kindness and thorough in her approach. I would not trust my health to anyone else.

What bothered me the most was her refusal to listen as I described the reason for my visit - or was it her complete lack of effective listening skills. It was like talking to myself. She insisted I'd refilled a prescription a month ago - when it was a 13 months ago - she looked at her records but did not look at the year. I felt I had to grovel just to get a simple refill. She knows absolutely NOTHING about thyroid disorders. It's always a bad sign when a doctor is 50 lbs overweight. I had to wait 45 minutes for her to see me at my last appointment - she as at her desk typing on her computer as I waited and waited and waited. I felt that was rude and disrespectful.

Dr. Luque is just awesome. I have been seeing her for the last 6 yrs. When I had kidney stone surgery last year I still was in pain and I went to her and she took all the time to call my ureologist and get an appointment that day. She even called me at home to make sure I was OK. It was such a good feeling to know your doctor cares about you. All her staffs are just so friendly.I will never ever change my doctor

I have been frustrated with Dr. Luque. Only once has she taken time to truly listen to me and spend time with me about my health concerns. I think she is a good Dr. but is in a hurry.
