Dr steamer is the worst dr I have ever seen. She had a horrible bedside manner

After going to her for several years for mundane ailments, I became extremely ill & she was unable to diagnose me. She sent me to a dermatologist for what I now know was a foot rash & sever leg edema...2 separate problems. She was unable to diagnose me and could not fill out the necessary FMLA paperwork (3 pgs !!) for my employer. I was under her care for 6 months, in the hospitol 5 times & she STILL couldn't provide me with a diagnoses. At the urging of both family & friends, I requested the house Dr. on my last ER visit (I was admitted for the usual 5 days), & was diagnosed the NEXT DAY. He ordered a correct specialist that treated me and has kept me in the best health possible for more than 2 yrs now. I would NOT advise anyone to use her.

Her ego walks in the door before she does! I would not recommend her to anyone, ever. That's after being in the hospital under her care twice.

This was the first time I'd ever seen a physician in 4" heels!I went in because of one problem & mentioned another. She tested my liver & told me I was fine. ??? She did give me a prescription for the other complaint and that took care of it. She got the job done but the entire office was not very friendly. In WI & IL it's not like that...

My Mom was quite ill, with what we believed to be a repeat of an earlier problem. Dr. Olson ordered lab work (urinalysis) but my Mom could not "produce" right at that time. Instead of waiting, they sent her home and had me bring a sample back early the next day the day. When I had not heard the results of the lab by 4:00, I called only to be told that the lab results had been read (there was a serious health problem present) and that the Dr had called in a prescription, but NO ONE BOTHERED TO CALL ME OR MY MOM to let us know. She ended up being hospitalized (by ambulance) and suffering complications. I believe that was a result in the delay of treatment or at the very least contributed to the severity of the complications. In addition, Dr Olson is NEVER available after hours. I understand that Doctors do have others on call at times, but to never be available seems unreasonable. We are transferring Mom's care to another Dr.

Never cared for seeing doctors- long waits, in and out, often condescending, many have not even given me an opportunity to talk or explain what I am concerned about. She was everything I have hoped to find in a physician, attentive, thorough, professional, competent and willing to discuss options and her plan of treatment as well as her reasoning for it. Didn't get defensive when I asked questions or mentioned alternatives. Called on a Friday afternoon stating I had not felt well for a while, was told to come on and they would work me in and sure enough my blood pressure was much higher than it has ever been. I have often left exams thinking there could be about 100 things wrong that never would have been detected due to such a rushed exam but when I left her office I knew I was in good hands. Her office is high tech, staff very friendly, and for anyone includig snowbirds or vacationers in need of medical care I would recommend her in a second and trust me you will get more than the… glance you receive at an urgent care clinic.

Dr. Olson is the Best doctor I have ever had. She has helped me with every problem I have encountered in my history of health and improved me health. She is very intelligent and makes you feel comfortable. She has wonderful customer service and people skills.I recommend anyone looking for a doctor in this area to come to Dr. Olson office!She is wonderful!! Brilliant and talented. I Love Dr. Olson!
